About The Position

At SimonMed, the Operations Lead is a hands-on leader responsible for the daily performance of an imaging center. This role ensures efficient workflows, strong patient access, and consistent execution across front office and clinical coordination functions. Serving as the operational backbone of the site, this leader partners closely with staff, providers, and leadership to resolve issues in real time, improve processes, and maintain compliance with organizational and regulatory standards. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 3+ years of experience in radiology, imaging, or healthcare operations
  • Strong understanding of patient flow, scheduling, and front office operations
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Detail-oriented with strong accountability and follow-through

Nice To Haves

  • Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business, or related field preferred
  • Experience with radiology systems such as EXA, RIS, and EMR preferred
  • Prior lead, senior, or informal supervisory experience strongly preferred
  • Experience with TOS workflows, insurance coordination, and operational reporting preferred

Responsibilities

  • Ensure smooth patient flow, optimized schedules, and high-performing site operations.
  • Oversee efficient workflows, strong patient access, and consistent execution across front office and clinical coordination functions.
  • Partner with staff, providers, and leadership to resolve issues in real time, improve processes, and maintain compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.
  • Guide daily priorities, support staff, and keep the site running smoothly and efficiently.
  • Review worklists and reports, monitor performance trends, and use data to identify gaps and improve workflows.
  • Manage competing operational demands while maintaining focus on patient flow, accuracy, and service quality.
  • Ensure accuracy in exam status tracking, documentation, payment collection workflows, and adherence to HIPAA and regulatory standards.
  • Provide real-time support, guidance, and issue resolution while helping staff stay aligned and accountable.
  • Identify inefficiencies, recommend solutions, and support process improvements in collaboration with leadership.
  • Lead daily execution across scheduling, capacity management, front office operations, and workflow optimization.
