About The Position

The Operations Lead is a critical member of the store leadership team, responsible for driving and coaching towards profitability and efficiency. This role works closely with the Operations & Visual Manager to initiate, delegate, and provide feedback to the team, ensuring optimal results that support total store operations. The Operations Lead is expected to lead by example, inspiring staff in daily operations and guest experience, and directly oversee Operations Associates, including recruitment and development. They will also collaborate with other leads to ensure cross-functional training and effective business execution, and execute company-level operations directives.

Requirements

• 2+ years of prior work experience in a client-centric, sales environment.
• Proven leadership capabilities demonstrating excellent decision-making.
• Values feedback, is receptive to receiving feedback, and eager to provide it.
• High energy, upbeat, and enthusiastic with the ability to integrate fun and work.
• Self-motivated with a desire to achieve results and excel individually and as a team.
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute inventory management processes to maximize accuracy and reduce shrink.
• Investigate inventory accuracy issues and escalate process or system gaps.
• Manage shipment, receiving, processing, reverse transfers, sales floor recovery, intra-day replenishment, floor set updates, and supply management.
• Champion strong visual standards for the sales floor.
• Support a safe work environment and efficient operation through strong stockroom standards and processes.
• Partner with Operations & Visual Manager to manage reporting, budgets, expenses, inventory control, supplies, vendor relationships, technology, and facilities.
• Leverage metrics to support business-driving strategies.
• Assess and fulfill the needs of the business, team, and guests on the retail floor.
• Directly oversee Operations Associates, including recruitment and development.
• Use company performance tools to evaluate associates and provide feedback for growth.
• Collaborate with Visual Lead and Sales & Service Lead for cross-functional training and business execution.
• Execute company-level operations-focused directives, projects, and initiatives.
