About The Position

The Operations Lead is a critical member of the store leadership team, responsible for driving profitability and efficiency through effective operations and team coaching. This role works closely with the Operations & Visual Manager to delegate tasks, provide feedback, and ensure optimal results for total store operations. The Operations Lead acts as a Business Leader by managing reporting, budgets, expenses, inventory control, and facilities, leveraging metrics to support business strategies. As a People Leader, they directly oversee Operations Associates, responsible for recruitment, development, and performance management. They also serve as a Business Partner, collaborating with other leads to ensure cross-functional alignment and executing company directives.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of prior work experience in a client-centric, sales environment.
  • Proven leadership capabilities demonstrating excellent decision-making.
  • Values feedback, is receptive to receiving feedback, and eager to provide it.
  • High energy, upbeat, and enthusiastic with the ability to integrate fun and work.
  • Self-motivated with a desire to achieve results and excel individually and as a team.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute inventory management processes to maximize accuracy and reduce shrink.
  • Investigate and identify root causes of inventory accuracy issues, escalating gaps to the General Manager.
  • Manage key operational functions including shipment, receiving, processing, reverse transfers, sales floor recovery, intra-day replenishment, floor set updates, and supply management.
  • Champion strong visual standards for the sales floor.
  • Support a safe work environment and efficient operation through strong stockroom standards and processes.
  • Partner with the Operations & Visual Manager to manage reporting, budgets, expenses, inventory control, supplies, vendor relationships, technology, and facilities.
  • Demonstrate strong business acumen by leveraging metrics to support business-driving strategies.
  • Move dynamically on the retail floor to assess and fulfill the needs of the business, team, and guests.
  • Lead by example and inspire staff in daily operations and guest experience.
  • Directly oversee the Operations Associates, responsible for recruitment and development of talent.
  • Use company performance tools to evaluate operations associates and provide constant feedback for individual growth and improvement in partnership with the store leader.
  • Collaborate with the Visual Lead to ensure cross-functional training.
  • Collaborate with the Sales & Service Lead to ensure the business is well-executed.
  • Execute company-level operations-focused directives, projects, and initiatives in partnership with the Operations & Visual Manager.
