About The Position
The Harborview Pharmacy Department has an outstanding opportunity for a Operations Lead Pharmacist - Inpatient (Pharmacist 4). This position assists the Inpatient Operations Manager with the implementation and evaluation of pharmacy services. The Operations Lead Pharmacist is responsible for the direction, development, implementation, and evaluation of specific programs within the Pharmacy and functions with a high degree of autonomy.
Requirements
- Three years experience in pharmacy practice.
- State of Washington Pharmacist License
Nice To Haves
- Months spent in the completion of an American Society of Health-System Pharmacists accredited residency training program may substitute month-for-month for the experience.
Responsibilities
- Responsibility for all pharmacy functions during the night shift.
- Coordinate the scheduling for staff assigned to area if required.
- Direct the work of pharmacy staff assigned to the work area or shift including pharmacists, interns, and pharmacy technicians.
- Detect, document and report adverse drug reactions and medication errors.
- Assist in developing safe medication practices to prevent errors.
