Requirements

  • Must be eighteen (18) years of age or older.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of two (2) years’ experience working in a warehouse environment.
  • Must be able to perform any physically exerting duties in a warehouse environment, which may be non-air conditioned or heated, meaning the indoor temperature fluctuates with the seasons.
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Previous leadership experience.
  • Experience working with a warehouse management system (WMS).
  • Minimum of two years’ experience working with Order management system / inventory systems in a high volume facility.
  • Possesses basic clerical and data entry skills.
  • Possesses strong organizational and time management skills, driving tasks to completion.
  • Able to interact effectively with all levels of management.
  • Able to transport up to 20 lbs.
  • Able to perform basic mathematical calculations.
  • Able to recognize and attend to important details with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
  • Able to build solid, effective working relationships with others.
  • Able to constructively work under stress and pressure when faced with high workloads and deadlines.
  • Able to effectively use relevant material handling equipment (i.e forklifts).
  • Able to express ideas clearly and convey necessary information.

Responsibilities

  • Overseeing the handling of customer products, including the loading, unloading, picking, and packing of product.
  • Assigning work to warehouse associates.
  • Supervising tasks performed by warehouse personnel.
  • Completing reports and records in a timely manner.
  • Troubleshooting machine and equipment malfunctions and reporting them to maintenance personnel.
  • Advising associates on care and preservation of product, use of equipment in handling, storing, maintaining, shipping stock, and related problems.
  • Ensuring high-quality customer service through assisting associates in warehouse functions when help is needed.
  • Taking action and speaking to associates when proper safety, quality, and productivity procedures are not being followed.
  • Working cooperatively and productively with other warehouse associates and leadership.
  • Adhering to company or site-specific safety policy and guidelines to ensure safe working conditions for self and others.
  • Investigating inventory discrepancies.
  • Investigating bin location variances.
  • Researching problem orders and receipts.
  • Inputting data into Order management system.
  • Performing system entries to maintain inventory and bin accuracy.
  • Performing to quality standards in multiple functions.
  • Maintaining accurate inventory counts.
  • Ensuring quality assurance processes and procedures are followed.
  • Performing product counts.
  • Staging materials within designated areas.
  • Operating all necessary warehouse equipment and tools.
  • Utilizing a warehouse management system to maintain appropriate work documents.
  • Moving materials weighing 50 lbs or more at times.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned.
