The Operations Intern is a temporary role providing broad work experience in performing a variety of Nuclear Power Plant Operations tasks of limited scope and complexity. The intern receives training and rotates with rotating crews to better understand the Operations department and the Auxiliary Operator role. In addition, they will participate in one outage during the Internship and support site activities. Under the guidance of supervision and their assigned mentors, interns will develop job skills and will learn about the duties and responsibilities of various Operations tasks to help them make career decisions. Completes training on industry-related topics. The Palo Verde Operations Intern Program is a seven-month program and can promote in the Operations pipeline to Auxiliary Operator Trainee upon successful completion of written evaluations and management approval.
