Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in petrochemical or refinery operations
• Demonstrated experience as a console operator in a petrochemical or refinery environment
• Prior supervisory or leadership experience
• Strong knowledge of process operations, including hazard recognition and mitigation
• Proven troubleshooting skills in a complex industrial environment

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate leadership in Personnel and Process Safety, reinforcing a “Nobody Gets Hurt” culture
• Lead shift start and safety meetings; promote effective use of PSMS
• Direct unit response during emergency situations
• Supervise operations team activities to ensure: Compliance with safe operating procedures and standards, Operations remain within safe limits, Products meet quality specifications, Timely identification and reporting of equipment or facility issues, Rapid mitigation of safety-critical equipment failures, Equipment is properly prepared for safe maintenance, High-quality safe work permits are issued prior to work, Effective surveillance rounds are conducted, Routine emergency drills are completed
• Support team development through formal and on-the-job training
• Ensure high-quality shift handovers and continuity across shifts
• Set clear expectations and hold team members accountable for performance
