Northeast Power Dry is seeking an experienced, hands-on Operations Field Manager to lead our mitigation operations. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required
- 2–5 years of management experience in construction, restoration, or a related industry
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, job costing, and resource management
- Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to motivate and develop teams
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and jobsite safety practices
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and project documentation
Nice To Haves
- Previous mitigation and restoration industry experience preferred
- Hands-on construction experience strongly preferred
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop the mitigation team to achieve operational excellence and exceptional customer satisfaction
- Oversee mitigation projects from start to finish, ensuring quality workmanship and on-time completion
- Conduct on-site inspections and provide hands-on leadership when needed
- Direct crews in the field and ensure proper construction and mitigation methods are followed
- Develop and improve operational workflows to maximize efficiency and productivity
- Monitor project progress, resolve issues quickly, and ensure customer expectations are exceeded
- Hire, onboard, train, and mentor new team members
- Conduct ongoing performance evaluations and provide coaching for continuous improvement
- Collaborate with other department leaders to coordinate staffing, equipment, and project resources
- Oversee inventory management and ensure equipment is properly maintained and available
- Review construction plans, scopes of work, and project documentation
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, company safety standards, and industry best practices
- Provide operational support during emergency situations, including after-hours response when needed
- Monitor job costing, resource allocation, and operational performance
