Operations Engineering Manager
About The Position
PIC Wire & Cable, an Angelus Company, a global products and services provider of aerospace and defense industry solutions, is seeking a hands-on industrialization & manufacturing engineering leader. This role is crucial for driving manufacturing excellence in both new product development and existing production. Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience working on technical solutions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment, and quality systems.
- Experience facilitating and championing CI initiatives using Lean Six Sigma methods.
Nice To Haves
- Familiarity with RF & ethernet cable technology, interconnect solutions, and aircraft systems/applications desired.
Responsibilities
- Lead strategic engineering projects that improve operational efficiency and manufacturing capabilities.
- Champion Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives to improve throughput, reduce waste, and strengthen manufacturing performance.
- Partner with Engineering, Production, Quality, Supply Chain, Finance, and Product Management to ensure successful product launches.
- Own product cost from concept through production, driving design-to-cost and sustaining margin-aligned results without compromising quality or performance.
