About The Position
HiFyve is hiring an Operations Engineer in the Chemical Manufacturing industry in Middletown, OH. This role supports daily plant operations and production performance, troubleshoots process and equipment issues, drives continuous improvement and root cause analysis, and supports Process Safety Management (PSM) while maintaining a strong safety culture. The Operations Engineer will also partner with maintenance and engineering on reliability and capital projects, and work to improve production efficiency and standard operating procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- 5-10+ years of operations or manufacturing engineering experience in a chemical plant.
- Required experience with Chemithon and Sulfonation/Sulfation processes.
- Hands-on plant floor experience (not lab, pilot plant, or project-only).
- PSM experience required.
Nice To Haves
- DeltaV or other DCS experience is a plus.
