About The Position

1. Plan, design and implement complex high-volume direct-to-consumer fulfillment processes, systems and facilities for capacity expansion and continuous improvement of worldwide fulfillment infrastructure throughout the large-scale supply chain network that increases critical-to-quality (CTQ) business needs by improving integration of people, materials, equipment, software, and finance 2. Provide technical leadership for large-scale industrial engineering projects using MS Excel, AutoCad and MS Project 3. Work with complex Material Handling Systems, packaging equipment and other processing gear to design safe and efficient fulfillment processes 4. Use Process Improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma and/or Kaizen to analyze Fulfillment Center processes and equipment and recommend and implement improvements to safety procedures, work processes and labor standards 5. Lead and coordinate design efforts between internal teams and outside vendors to develop optimal solutions for the network, including equipment specification, material flow, process design, and site layout 6. Manage capital projects and create conceptual drawings, equipment specifications and bid documentation to facilitate a competitive bid environment 7. Monitor and enforce project schedules and quality with vendors or subcontractors. Inspect facilities in accordance with corporate standards and procedures relating to material handling, processing and storage 8. Develop and manage budget and contract documents including Requests for Proposals, change order controls, purchase orders and invoicing 9. Coordinate with local site management to ensure proper operator training, procedural compliance, maintenance and safety practices are followed for new and existing equipment. 10. Domestic and international travel up to 80% to perform role responsibilities is required. Requirements

  • Master’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Engineering, Operations, Business Administration, Management or a related field and 1 year of experience in the job offered or a related occupation. In the alternative, employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Engineering, Operations, Business Administration, Management or a related field and 3 years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
  • 1 year of experience in project engineering, process engineering, project management, manufacturing engineering, or related
  • 1 year of experience leading projects, programs or initiatives with continually increasing scope and impact.
  • 1 year of operations management/distribution center experience with direct management or responsibility for material handling, automation, or other technical projects.
  • 1 year of experience with Six Sigma and/or Lean Manufacturing.
  • 1 year of experience with Microsoft Project, Smartsheet programs.
  • 1 year of experience with design and/or implementation automation solutions, such as Conveyors, Sorters, high speed manufacturing and packaging lines, Robotic work cells.
