About The Position

As an Operations Director at QXO, you’ll lead branch operations and partner with local teams to drive performance—ensuring efficient and profitable market execution. QXO, Inc. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Sales, Business, or a related field
  • 5+ years of management experience, preferably with industry-related expertise
  • Cross-functional knowledge across finance, operations, HR, supply chain, and sales
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new software quickly
  • Product knowledge in residential and commercial roofing, siding, and windows
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Branch Managers, Operations Managers, and Dispatchers to ensure efficient and profitable deliveries and market operations
  • Support Branch Managers with sales projections, budgeting, and overall leadership
  • Train and guide counter staff to ensure professional, fair customer service and build strong relationships with key customers
  • Oversee hiring procedures, maintain accurate personnel records, and manage time reporting for payroll
  • Demonstrate a daily commitment to safety and strictly adhere to all protocols, always wearing appropriate PPE
  • Monitor facility and equipment needs, ensure proper maintenance, and manage inventory levels and control
