About The Position

The Operations Director is responsible for the overall leadership, performance and strategic direction of the site, with full accountability for Profit & Loss (P&L), operational execution, Health, Safety & Environment (HSE), quality performance and Customer satisfaction. The role ensures the safe and efficient delivery of projects and operational activities while driving sustainable growth, operational excellence and improved financial performance across the business. The Operations Director provides leadership across all functional areas, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and at margins exceeding bid expectations, while maintaining the highest standards of quality, compliance and workforce engagement.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s or Master's Degree in Engineering, Finance, or Business Management preferred
  • Oil & gas / Renewables experience
  • Proven experience in an operational/manufacturing leadership role.
  • Good understanding of finance models and profit/loss management.
  • Proven leadership experience/skills.
  • Ability to present to executive level management and good understanding of Microsoft Office products.
  • Must have a valid passport and be willing to travel to any Proserv location when needed.
  • Approachable and willing to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

  • Hold full accountability for the site P&L including revenue growth, cost control, profitability, cash flow and overall financial performance.
  • Drive operational excellence across all functions to ensure safe, efficient and commercially successful delivery of projects and services.
  • Lead and promote a strong HSE culture ensuring compliance with all company, client, regulatory and industry standards while driving continuous improvement in safety performance.
  • Ensure site quality standards are maintained and continuously improved, including compliance with quality management systems, audit requirements and client specifications.
  • Oversee the successful execution and delivery of projects ensuring schedules, budgets, technical requirements and Customer expectations are consistently achieved.
  • Drive on-time delivery performance across manufacturing, engineering, service and project execution activities.
  • Ensure projects are delivered at margins better than bid through effective commercial oversight, risk management, cost control, resource optimisation and execution discipline.
  • Develop and implement strategic business plans aligned with corporate objectives and market opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as the senior escalation point for key Customers and stakeholders.
  • Lead, develop and mentor leadership teams and employees to create a high-performance and accountable culture.
  • Support business growth initiatives including sales strategy, market expansion, bid reviews and identification of new revenue opportunities.
  • Ensure effective workforce planning, resource allocation and operational capability to meet current and future business demands.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across Operations, Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Service delivery functions.
  • Ensure compliance with all contractual, legal, regulatory and corporate governance requirements.
  • Provide regular operational and financial reporting to executive leadership, including performance metrics, forecasts, risks and improvement plans.
  • Foster collaboration across global and regional business functions to ensure alignment and consistency of delivery standards.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
