About The Position

Boeing Global Services is looking for an Operations Director (Digital & Analytics) to join their team in San Antonio, TX. This role involves leading the Commercial Modification Site (CMC) in Victorville, overseeing modifications, ground and flight operations, maintenance coordination, safety, regulatory compliance, and operational performance. The Director will also be responsible for the San Antonio Business Integration Office, managing nine programs and leading Quality, Operations & Execution for Digital and Analytics strategies. This includes driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and improve delivery times and reliability by reshaping maintenance decisions, supply chains, and operational performance. A key aspect of the role is defining and leading the digital and data strategy for Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MROs) by establishing a data-driven maintenance vision and procedures (predictive, condition-based, reliability-centered) from an operations perspective. The Director will align digital initiatives with business KPIs and leverage maintenance best practices. They will build and govern the data foundation to integrate fragmented systems (ERP, OEM data, etc.), establish data governance frameworks (quality, ownership, standards, and requirements), and deploy Advanced Analytics and AI use cases for predictive maintenance, prescriptive analytics, and inventory optimization. The role also includes digitizing maintenance execution by replacing paper-based processes with mobile tools for technicians, leading change management and upskilling, ensuring regulatory and compliance alignment, leading BGS Technical Training across QO&E, and driving LEAN, EI, and FOD initiatives for the San Antonio Site and CMC. Additionally, the Director will ensure robust contingency planning and disruption management processes to maintain service levels during irregular operations and champion safety management systems and a strong safety culture across all operational units.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience working as a senior leader or senior manager
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Operations and/or manufacturing processes
  • Minimum 5 years of experience influencing and building strong relationships with stakeholders and partnerships across functions
  • Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Responsibilities

  • Site Leader for Commercial Modification Site (CMC - Victorville), including modifications, ground and flight operations, maintenance coordination, safety and regulatory compliance and operation performance
  • Responsible for overseeing all operational aspects of San Antonio Business Integration Office of nine (9) programs onsite (BGS, BDS & BCA)
  • Lead Quality, Operations & Execution for Digital and Analytics strategy and initiatives to improve standard work and MROs
  • Transformation to drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase operational efficiency, reduce costs, and improve on-time delivery and reliability by reshaping how maintenance decisions, supply chains and operational performance are driven
  • Define and lead the digital and data strategy for MROs by establishing a data-driven maintenance vision and procedures (predictive, condition-based, reliability-centered) from an operations perspective.
