About The Position

The LifeCare Alliance Operations Dietitian is responsible for both the nutritional oversight and food/supply ordering. This role ensures that all dietary services meet the highest standards of quality and compliance, supporting the health and well-being of our clients.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or a related field required.
• Experience in menu planning and development.
• Experience in food ordering and inventory management.
• Experience ensuring compliance with food safety standards.
• Experience in quality control and ensuring client satisfaction.
• Experience in record keeping and reporting.
• Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs.
• Occasional local travel for meetings or site visits.

Nice To Haves

• Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential preferred or eligibility for registration.
• Experience in nutrition program management, food service, or community nutrition.
• Experience in food ordering, inventory management, and working with food suppliers.
• Prior experience working with older adults or individuals with special dietary needs.

Responsibilities

• Menu Planning and Development: Design and implement nutritionally balanced menus that cater to the diverse dietary needs of our clients, including older adults and individuals with special dietary requirements.
• Food Ordering and Inventory Management: Oversee the procurement of food supplies and manage inventory to ensure the availability of fresh and nutritious ingredients, while minimizing waste.
• Compliance and Food Safety: Ensure all food service operations adhere to health regulations and safety standards, maintaining the highest level of food safety and hygiene.
• Quality Control and Client Satisfaction: Monitor food quality and service delivery, addressing any issues promptly to maintain client satisfaction and uphold the organization's reputation.
• Record Keeping and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of food service activities, including inventory levels, menu plans, and compliance documentation, and prepare reports as required.
