About The Position

Jacques Marie Mage is a Los Angeles-based producer of limited-edition designer goods specializing in the micro-production of luxury eyewear. The Operations Data Specialist – Supply Chain is responsible for collecting, organizing, and interpreting data from various sources—including ERP systems, vendor portals, invoices, production data, and a variety of reports, to drive informed decision-making across the supply chain function. This role supports the development of metrics and KPIs, uncovers cost-saving opportunities, and contributes to the overall efficiency and performance of supply chain operations. This position requires advanced analytical capabilities, strong attention to detail, and a proactive, solution oriented mindset. The ideal candidate excels at transforming complex data into clear, actionable insights that directly support operational and strategic goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management or related field
  • At least five years of data analytics experience within operations or supply chain functions.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems (Netsuite) - Expert level
  • Microsoft Excel proficient-Expert level
  • Strong ability to analyze data
  • Exceptional communication skills; written and verbal
  • Ability to analyze complex data sets and derive meaningful insights
  • Aptitude for identifying issues and developing effective solutions
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously

Responsibilities

  • Gather data from systems, vendor portals, invoices, productions and sales reports to create metrics and KPIs to facilitate decision making within the supply chain function.
  • Responsible for supporting systems administration and procurement functions
  • Analyze data to drive business decisions and find opportunities to reduce costs
  • Design, maintain, and analyze reporting for the department and cross-functional business units
  • Create and maintain dynamic dashboards to visualize KPIs and drive strategic decision-making across procurement, logistics, and planning teams (PowerBi a strong plus)
  • Identify and correct discrepant data to ensure reporting and dashboards are accurate
  • Partner with IT as needed to test and deploy system enhancements, improving the accuracy and usability of workflows
  • Conduct weekly asset allocation reporting, improving transparency and coordination between teams
  • Interpret large datasets from our ERP system (Netsuite), vendor platforms, and production reports to identify trends, and potential bottlenecks,
  • Develop demand forecasts and inventory plans based on market trends, and sales projections
  • Use a variety of analytical tools to interpret data and generate insights
  • Maintain accurate records of allocations and transactions
  • Conduct root cause analyses on inventory variances and supply chain delays, delivering actionable recommendations that improve process efficiency.
  • Leverage software and tools to automate processes and improve data accuracy
