Operations Data Analyst
About The Position
Data plays a critical role in helping our business improve operational performance, identify opportunities, and make informed decisions. As part of our team, you'll have the opportunity to work directly with business leaders and operational stakeholders to transform data into meaningful insights that drive business outcomes. This is a highly visible role that offers direct exposure to senior leadership and the opportunity to shape how data and analytics are used across the business. You'll work in a collaborative environment where your recommendations and insights can directly influence operational performance and strategic decision-making.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as a Data Analyst or similar role supporting operational teams
- Hands-on experience with Power BI or other reporting/analytics platforms
- Strong SQL experience
- Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, formulas, and data modeling
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience presenting data, trends, and insights to stakeholders
- Ability to ensure data quality, consistency, and accuracy
- Self-starter able to operate effectively with minimal direction
- Ability to anticipate business needs
- Strong communication skills for executive audiences
Nice To Haves
- Financial, banking, or operational analytics experience
- Experience supporting operations, fulfillment, or shared services environments
- Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma concepts
Responsibilities
- Designing, building, and maintaining dashboards and scorecards focused on operational performance, efficiency, volume, quality, service levels, and capacity
- Creating scalable reporting solutions using Power BI and other reporting tools
- Analyzing large and complex datasets to identify trends, risks, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities
- Translating business questions into structured analyses and actionable recommendations
- Proactively identifying insights and opportunities for leadership teams
- Partnering with Operations, Process Improvement, and Technology teams to enhance data quality and usability
- Creating concise, executive-ready reporting and summaries that clearly communicate findings and recommendations
- Establishing and maintaining standard definitions, metrics, documentation, and reporting governance
- Supporting operational teams through reporting, analytics, and performance measurement initiatives
