This role involves performing routine cleaning tasks, leading post-event cleanups, monitoring facility maintenance, and leading contract custodial staff. The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma or GED, knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment, and the ability to work independently and train part-time staff.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED.
Demonstrate knowledge of cleaning and custodial methods and techniques including the use of chemicals and equipment.
Ability to accomplish tasks and duties without direct supervision.
Demonstrate knowledge of basic tools.
Ability to work nights, weekends, post events, and holidays.
Must be able to train and monitor part-time staff while completing other duties.

Nice To Haves

Experience in larger facilities with multiple types of floors preferred.
Previous custodial experience in a similar facility preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming to maintain the cleanliness of all areas within facility.
Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and fixtures and restock supplies as needed.
Maintain and replenish cleaning supplies and materials to ensure adequate stock level.
Refinish floors, maintain custodial equipment and monitor waste and recycling.
Lead post event clean ups.
Monitor and report any facility maintenance issues or damages to the appropriate personnel.
Lead contract custodial staff.
Train new employees.
