About The Position

Guardteck provides tailored security solutions for a wide range of environments, including commercial buildings, residential sites, and community spaces. This role is internal facing, focused on efficiency, logistics, and quality control within Internal Operations, Scheduling, Logistics, Audits, Support Services, Financial Responsibilities, and Collections.

Requirements

  • Alarm monitoring, dispatch, and call center experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications and technical aptitude.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

  • Minimum of 6 months of experience in the security industry.
  • Experience with integrated security systems (CCTV, Access, Intrusion).
  • Education in criminology, emergency management, justice, or security management.

Responsibilities

  • Manage payroll discrepancies.
  • Process vacation and leave requests (e.g., sick leave, bereavement, unpaid leave).
  • Provide employment verification and reference letters.
  • Handle resignations and terminations.
  • Facilitate disciplinary meetings and documentation.
  • Develop and manage performance improvement plans (PIPs).
  • Coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes.
  • Conduct probationary reviews and provide status updates.
  • Track certifications and license renewals (e.g., BST, OFA, Use of Force).
  • Maintain employee files (digital and/or physical).
  • Conduct exit interviews.
  • Manage shift coverage requests and find last-minute replacements.
  • Approve and track overtime.
  • Create and update post orders.
  • Maintain site-specific SOPs.
  • Plan deployments for special events or transitions.
  • Manage job boards and shift assignments.
  • Coordinate site audits and follow-up.
  • Manage uniform issuance and return tracking.
  • Oversee equipment allocation and inventory control (radios, vests, flashlights, etc.).
  • Maintain fleet vehicle usage logs and schedules.
  • Investigate and follow up on lost/stolen equipment.
  • Track incident reports and escalate as needed.
  • Conduct license and compliance audits (internal or external).
  • Track WCB claims and coordinate return-to-work programs.
  • Ensure employee compliance with training and documentation.
  • Participate in regular operations meetings.
  • Participate in various committees when assigned.
  • Perform other duties as reasonably assigned.
