About The Position

Intertek is seeking an Operations Coordinator to join their Caleb Brett team in Chelsea, MA. This role is a great opportunity for career growth in the petroleum inspection industry. Intertek Caleb Brett offers specialized cargo inspection and analytical assessment services for the oil, gas, and chemical markets, leveraging a global network and over 130 years of experience to provide Total Quality Assurance. The Operations Coordinator will work directly with inspectors, dispatch jobs, and approve accounting figures with terminal operators. Proficiency in math is essential. Occasional sample pick-ups may be required, necessitating a valid driver's license and a good driving record.

Requirements

• High School Graduate
• Math Skills
• Some knowledge of the oil industry
• Exceptional communication skills
• Computer Skills and knowledge of inspection related business
• Valid driver’s license and reliable driving record is required
• Must reside and be able to legally work in the United States

Nice To Haves

• Terminal – seaman – first officer experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Dispatch jobs for the inspectors
• Enter job orders and update the job order board
• Confirm jobs with terminal personnel
• Keep track of inspector equipment
