About The Position

Family HealthCare is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) and mission-driven nonprofit dedicated to providing quality, compassionate care to everyone in the Fargo-Moorhead community regardless of their ability to pay. We believe healthcare is a right, not a privilege, and everything we do is built around that belief. We're looking for an Operations Coordinator to help us bring care directly to the people who need it most through our Mobile Health Unit and school-based health center. This is a hands-on, high-impact role for someone who wants their work to matter and is ready to grow into it.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Strong organizational skills and genuine attention to detail
• Comfort working with spreadsheets and everyday tech tools (Google Workspace, Microsoft Office; EPIC experience a plus, not required)
• Clear, professional, and respectful communication with people from all walks of life
• A problem-solving mindset and the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Cultural sensitivity and a genuine alignment with our mission to serve underserved communities

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience in healthcare, clinical settings, project coordination, or operations is a plus

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support day-to-day operations for the Mobile Health Unit, School-Based Health Center, and other outreach programs
• Help plan and execute community healthcare events that connect underserved patients with care
• Track project timelines, deliverables, and program records to keep initiatives on course
• Spot inefficiencies and help build better, more standardized processes
• Support grant writing, research, and reporting efforts
• Collaborate across departments and with community partners to keep everyone aligned
• Track metrics and build reports that help leadership make good decisions
• Operate the mobile health unit (medical clearance/DOT card required - training and support provided)
