New York City, Operations Coordinator

Glowbar IncNew York, NY
$70,000 - $85,000Onsite

About The Position

The Operations Coordinator is the operational backbone that keeps Glowbar studios stocked, growing, and running smoothly. You own inventory across the studio network — from monthly purchase orders to ecomm product ordering to HQ supply and collateral — and you get hands-on with New Studio Openings, traveling to support procurement and on-site setup. You're the first line of our support inbox, managing timebound responses and company service level agreements (SLA) and overseeing our offshore support partner, and you keep studios connected and equipped through systems administration, resource management, and internal communications like our weekly newsletter and intranet. If you love variety, thrive on staying organized across a dozen moving pieces, and want a front-row seat to Glowbar's growth, this is the role for you.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of operations experience (i.e. restaurant, retail, hotel, salon/spa, or comparable) with a proven track record of superior customer service
  • Quick study and high level of confidence working in a variety of systems and platforms
  • Ability to manage multiple projects through prioritization and planning skills; demonstrated ability to wear multiple hats and work in a scrappy environment (ready to roll up your sleeves)
  • Exceptional attention to detail and follow-through
  • Highly motivated and results-oriented, resourceful and creative
  • Eager to join a fast-growing team and collaborate closely across functions
  • Exceptional customer-first mindset, both internal and external
  • Outstanding interpersonal, written, and organizational skills
  • Comfortable managing vendor and remote/offshore partner relationships
  • Forward-thinking problem solver with a strong work ethic
  • Passion for beauty, skincare, learning, and trying new things every day
  • Ability to travel to support New Studio Openings (approximately 20–30% of the time, with heavier travel during opening weeks)
