About The Position
The Landline Company is redefining the airport journey by building infrastructure that decentralizes the airport. Its platform connects air and ground transportation, extending the airport experience into everyday places and enabling seamless door-to-gate travel while unlocking new demand. Landline is pioneering remote terminal concepts that bring airport check-in, bag drop, and security screening closer to travelers, including directly into the neighborhoods and destinations where they live, work, and stay. Operating across North America with a growing network of partners, including Air Canada, American Airlines, Sun Country Airlines, Delta, Jet Blue, and CLEAR, Landline is building the infrastructure that allows travel to begin anywhere.
Requirements
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent education required
- 2 years of previous management experience required
- Previous experience in ground transportation preferred
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug and criminal background screen
Nice To Haves
- Ideal but not required software experience includes Samsara, TASSTA (often referred to as Taska), Sabre (American Airlines), and Netline.
Responsibilities
- Monitor vehicle movements in fleet management system, look for upcoming delays and advise on alternate routes if available.
- Monitor weather and road conditions using online applications and traffic cameras.
- Monitor driver attendance to ensure trips are covered. Contact standby drivers to fill trips as needed.
- Move drivers/vehicles between trips in response to delays/breakdowns.
- Communicate with drivers as they move in/out of stations using push to talk phones.
- Communicate with airline systems operations control (SOC) on delays or cancellations.
- Assign vehicles for upcoming trips based on planned maintenance schedule.
- Monitor drivers' hours of service to ensure compliance with DOT regulations and ensure available hours to cover upcoming trips.
- Assist with driver scheduling.
