About The Position

Natural Habitat Adventures (Nat Hab), a Boulder-based global adventure travel company focused on nature experiences, is seeking an Operations Coordinator to join our Adventure Operations team, responsible for orchestrating the logistics behind our trips. In this role, you will help ensure that our partners and field staff are fully equipped with the information and resources they need to deliver exceptional guest experiences on every departure. This is a full-time, exempt position with a hybrid work schedule. Requirements

  • Previous experience in logistics and data management preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office S uite.
  • Computer database experience preferred .
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize and manage tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Able to self-manage, take initiative, and offer solutions.
  • College degree preferred.

Nice To Haves

  • Travel industry experience is not but a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Thoroughly review, compile, and send departure-specific information to Nat Hab's in-country operators, contracted partners (hotels, restaurants, service providers) and Field Team. Most communication is done via email working heavily in our CRM software. Guest information includes passport details, flight itineraries, medical/dietary information, and special requests.
  • Organize select program details and logistics for destinations around the world, working intimately with Trip Owners and other staff (as needed). Logistics include, but are not limited to, scheduling and confirming restaurant, activity, and transportation needs on select programs, assisting with Expedition Leader and field staff flights, facilitating guest visa needs, and the management of room releases with individual properties and operators.
  • Assist with or own the creation and dissemination of field team documentation.
  • Assist with or own accurate data entry, record-keeping, and maintaining operational databases, ensuring data and content integrity across all platforms
  • Act as a resource for in-house Adventure Specialist and Guest Services colleagues regarding trip-specific information such as itinerary, hotel, meal or transportation details, travel documents, etc .
  • May assist with the research and development of new itineraries or programs. May include the management of vendor or partner relationships and/or invoices.
  • This is a collaborative team role that includes supporting/backing up Trip Owners as needed.
  • May assist in the planning and execution of training retreats locally and around the world.
