About The Position

As the "First Face" of the community, the Operations Coordinator serves as the welcoming host, providing exceptional customer service during every interaction. This role involves answering questions for residents, vendors, guests, and employees via in-person, telephone, or email. The Operations Coordinator also assists the administrative team with various tasks, ensuring timely and professional handling of phone calls and emails. A key responsibility includes accurate accounting, tracking resident occupancy, ensuring correct resident billing, and applying payments and credits to resident accounts.

Requirements

  • At least eighteen (18) years of age.
  • High school diploma, or equivalent.
  • Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 12th grade proficiency.
  • Experience in handling bookkeeping and knowledge of basic accounting.
  • Ability to adhere to the company’s accounting policies.
  • Proficient at Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Google Docs.
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills, with attention to detail.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal directions.
  • Ability to apply practical solving skills if needed.
  • Positive and energetic attitude.
  • Professional in appearance and conduct.
  • Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 25 pounds.
  • Must be criminally cleared.
  • In good health and physically and mentally capable of performing assigned tasks.
  • Must pass a health screening performed by a physician not more than six (6) months prior to or seven (7) days following employment.
  • Must test free from pulmonary tuberculosis at time of health screening.
  • Requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping most of the day.
  • Requires sedentary periods of one to three hours.
  • Ability to retrieve items from storage, including overhead bins or cabinets.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the welcoming host and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Answer or find answers to questions from residents, vendors, guests, or employees.
  • Assist the administrative team in completing assigned tasks.
  • Ensure phone calls and emails are answered in a timely and professional manner.
  • Track resident occupancy.
  • Ensure accurate resident billing.
  • Correctly apply payments and credits to resident accounts.
