About The Position

The Operations Coordinator plays a key role in supporting day-to-day operational activities across Avenue C (Micro markets) and Office Coffee Service (OCS) operations. This position works closely with Operations leadership to ensure efficient execution of daily tasks, including scheduling support, warehouse coordination, and product implementation. The Operations Coordinator acts as a central point of communication between clients, field teams, and management to ensure seamless service delivery and operational excellence.

Requirements

  • Administrative or operational experience in office, warehouse, food service, hospitality, or related environments preferred
  • Experience supporting field operations, route-based services, or food/beverage programs (Avenue C/OCS experience a plus)
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and general computer skills
  • Ability to coordinate across multiple teams and prioritize competing demands

Responsibilities

  • Assist Operations leadership with daily management of Avenue C and OCS operations, including opening and closing processes.
  • Support day-to-day operational activities to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and service quality.
  • Collaborate with teams to meet operational goals, deadlines, and customer expectations.
  • Monitor workflows and ensure adherence to company standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Provide scheduling support for operations staff as needed to maintain coverage and productivity.
  • Coordinate with warehouse teams on product ordering, inventory management, and new product implementation.
  • Maintain accurate operational documentation and reports for reference and compliance.
  • Identify operational challenges and proactively implement solutions in a timely manner.
  • Work closely with Operations teams to support Avenue C and OCS operations, including daily execution and closing procedures.
  • Assist managers in coordinating and overseeing operational activities.
  • Liaise between customers, associates, warehouse teams, and management to ensure smooth service delivery.
  • Support and help manage scheduling for field and operational staff when needed.
  • Coordinate warehouse ordering, product inventory levels, and rollout of new products.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and operational procedures.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through effective communication and responsiveness.
  • Provide guidance and direction to team members to meet performance and service goals.
  • Track and manage tasks to ensure projects and operational initiatives are completed on time and within scope.
  • Assist in maintaining accurate records, procedures, and operational documentation.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support business needs.
