About The Position

The Operations Coordinator, Volleyball reports to the Head Coach, Volleyball and is responsible for the coordination and organization of the day-to-day operation of the Volleyball program. The Operations Coordinator assists the Head Coach in all phases of the daily operations and promotion of a Division I intercollegiate volleyball program.

Requirements

Associate’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
1-2 years of related experience in volleyball (collegiate playing, coaching or operations).
Excellent computer, organizational and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated ability to interact positively with student-athletes, parents, alumni, colleagues and the public.
Strong commitment to the welfare of student-athletes.
Ability to independently coordinate multiple tasks at one time.
Knowledge and understanding of, and commitment to compliance with, NCAA, ECAC, Ivy and University rules and regulations in regard to operations.
Completion of a criminal background and DMV checks satisfactory to Brown University prior to commencing employment.
Annual rules education on NCAA legislation related to recruiting.
Maintain current AED/CPR and First Aid certification.

Responsibilities

Coordination and organization of the day-to-day operation of the Volleyball program.
Assisting the Head Coach in all phases of the daily operations and promotion of a Division I intercollegiate volleyball program.
Ensuring compliance with NCAA, ECAC, Ivy and University rules and regulations in regard to operations.
Reporting any rules violations to the compliance office and appropriate parties.
