Position Summary: The Operations Controller will report to the Division Controller and will contribute to the strategic direction of the Division. This position fills a crucial role and will require strong leadership skills and drive to help leaders throughout the business understand how their choices impact financials. This role will be filled by someone who sets high standards for performance for self and team, works tenaciously to meet or exceed expectations, instills ownership and accountability in people, and delegates and follows-up effectively. This will require an understanding of all functional areas of the business and what drives results, with the ability to demonstrate strong strategic insight and anticipate future trends; not only reporting results but predict and influence future results. The Operations Controller has complete ownership and accountability of accurate and timely financial reporting with the drive to identify, communicate, and train others on key business drivers. They must be analytical and inquisitive as the role ensures the integrity of quantitative and qualitative data shared with senior management. They will demonstrate a strong ability to present a well-rounded recommendation as input for business decisions based on facts and solid data and will always bring a solution when presenting a problem. The role will also empower, coach, and facilitate others in 80/20 and the ITW toolbox; gathering sound data to be used in the 80/20 process and assessing it thoroughly.
