About The Position

Reporting to the Project Manager, the Operations Clerk is accountable for a multitude of tasks. The Operations Clerk is responsible for the Enterprise Asset Management System (EAM) and is involved in different stages of asset management. The Operations Clerk provides support to clients either via phone or email on a 24/7 shift work basis. This includes but is not limited to safety, document control, and dispatching, scheduling, and field communications. Errors in judgment by the Operations Clerk could result in significant safety concerns, disruption to revenue operations and service resulting in loss of revenue to the customer and liquidated damages to PNR, non-fulfilment of contract budget commitments and other financial goals, damage to PNR’s corporate image and credibility.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1-3 years of customer service, administrative and/or similar experience
  • Must rapidly acquire a thorough knowledge of PNR and customer department organizational structure, operations, policies and procedures applicable to the work performed.
  • Must attend and successfully complete any trainings required to suit the positions requirements.
  • Pre-employment background and reference checks will be required.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office products including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Must possess a sound judgement with highly developed time management, organizational, interpersonal, and analytical/problem solving skills.
  • Must possess strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Must possess the ability to multi-task in a fast paced, high pressure environment and meet demanding timelines.
  • Must possess the ability to pay attention to detail at a high level.
  • Familiarity with computers and computer-based techniques/applications related to the work are essential.

Nice To Haves

  • Office Administration Certificate is an asset
  • Experience in a fast-paced call centre/office setting is an asset
  • Ability to read and understand diagrams and schematics is an asset.
  • A demonstrated ability to motivate and influence a diverse group of internal and external contract stakeholders to achieve the goals of the contract would be an asset.
  • Ability to assess and reorganize priorities to suit changing requirements.

  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to build and improve processes for asset management and adjacent activities.
  • Create and update knowledge articles for EAM processes and procedures.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as required.
