About The Position

Perform routine but varied clerical duties on the manufacturing floor in accordance with standard procedures. Provide clerical support by recording, entering and verifying data from a variety of sources and documents. Maintain records; compile standard reports, file, tabulate, and performing routine clerical tasks related to manufacturing. Apply knowledge of department policies and procedures, and utilizes a general understanding of other departments' functions. May be responsible for data entry, reporting, checking or verifying of information, generation of reports and responding to data requests. Responsible for maintaining department files. May assist with production planning and special projects. Performs visual inspection of printed materials for defects that are out of specification by following quality system procedures and work instructions and ensuring that the product meets quality conformance specified by the customer and/or RRD. They will be validating file source, alignment specs, placement specs, formats, graphic/logo specs, color, test overlay, collation, sequencing, IMB barcode position, MICR line position and density reading, output barcode placement and other quality specifications. Records and defects and assist with disposition of suspect or defective materials. Prepares written reports and provides notification to manufacturing management of known or found defects.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year, preferred 3 years previous related experience
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word
  • Basic knowledge of Google Applications
  • Preferred previous data entry
  • Previous office experience in a fast-paced environment
  • Organizational skills must be excellent
