About The Position

Abode Money is building the financial home for your home. Our mission is to make homeownership more affordable for everyday homeowners. We use AI to automate the hardest parts of saving on home costs—like property taxes, insurance, utilities, and more. Our vision is a future where AI takes care of the heavy lifting, so homeowners can avoid headaches and live affordably. We are backed by leading investors: Core VC, Drive Capital, Sequoia, and 81 Collection. We’re seeking a driven and resourceful Operations & Business Development Intern to join us for Summer 2026. You’ll work closely with company leadership on high-impact projects spanning operations, customer experience, and market research. This is a hands-on role designed for someone eager to gain startup experience, take ownership, and learn quickly in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree (rising Junior/Senior preferred).
  • Strong interest in startups, business operations, or technology.
  • Experience with Google Suite, market research, data analysis, and related tools.
  • Willing to be in Austin, TX for the internship (3 days/week in person).

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Gemini), SQL, or project management platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Tackle operations projects, including process improvement, data analysis, and customer support initiatives.
  • Support business development efforts: market research, competitor analysis, and identifying new partnership opportunities.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product, growth, and engineering teams to solve challenges and build scalable systems.
  • Help build and document repeatable processes around onboarding, customer communications, and regulatory research.
  • Collect, analyze, and present key metrics to drive insights and decision-making.
  • Contribute your creativity and perspective to challenge conventional approaches and drive continuous improvement.
