About The Position
Bright Endeavors is a social enterprise of New Moms, a nonprofit organization rooted in the belief that every young family has the potential to thrive. Through paid job training and holistic support, we partner with young moms as they build strong foundations for their families. Every candle we pour lights the path forward for a brighter future. The Temporary Operations Associate is a key member of the Bright Endeavors team, whose primary responsibilities are supporting floor operations and production during the holiday season. This is an in person role at our Bright Endeavors location in East Garfield Park.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Strong decision-making skills and excitement about working in a fast-paced, physically active environment required
Nice To Haves
- Experience working in operations, production, manufacturing, or inventory fulfillment preferred
Responsibilities
- Clean, dry, and prepare candle vessels, pots, and other light equipment
- Pour, finish, and stock candles and other products
- Preparing items for shipment and completing other order fulfillment tasks
- Organizing the fulfillment bay and production floor
- Provide assistance to the Operations Coordinators
- Performs other related duties as assigned
