Now, we’re looking for a detail‑oriented, hands‑on Operations Assistant to help keep our branch running smoothly.
What You’ll Do
As an Operations Assistant, you’ll be at the center of daily branch operations—balancing customer service, logistics, and hands‑on trailer coordination. You’ll work closely with customers, maintenance teams, and vendors to ensure trailers are safe, ready, and moving on schedule.

Requirements

• One to two years of experience in operations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Organizational skills
• Problem-solving skills
• Safety awareness
• Aptitude for mechanical skills

Nice To Haves

• Associate’s degree preferred
• Experience in the trailer/transportation industry preferred

Responsibilities

• Receive and intake inbound trailers for returns and walk‑in repairs
• Inspect outbound trailers to ensure quality and safety standards are met
• Assess trailer damage and determine required maintenance or repairs
• Create work orders and coordinate with the Maintenance team
• Prepare customer estimates and invoices
• Communicate rental and lease contract details and secure customer signatures
• Coordinate trailer movement within the yard
• Dispatch service truck mechanics or third‑party vendors as needed
• Perform daily trailer and equipment inventory checks
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the branch and work areas
• Stay up to date on safety regulations and industry standards
• Promote and maintain a safe work environment
