About The Position

As an Operations Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the transportation and logistics team. You will assist in coordinating with various internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate movement of freight, as well as maintaining accurate and up-to-date records and reports.

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Customer service-oriented mindset.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
• Familiarity with transportation management systems.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in transportation and logistics operations or a related field.
• Fluent in English (oral and written)

Nice To Haves

• Understanding of logistics and supply chain operations.
• Experience working in a team environment.
• Knowledge of international trade regulations and customs procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist in coordinating transportation and logistics operations, including documentation, booking, and delivery.
• Liaise with customers, carriers, and freight forwarders to ensure smooth movement of freight.
• Coordinate with internal teams, such as sales and customer service, to ensure customer satisfaction and timely delivery of shipments.
• Assist in maintaining accurate and up-to-date records related to shipments, customer information, and other operational data.
• Respond to customer inquiries and resolve any issues or concerns related to operations.
• Prepare and submit reports to management as needed.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
