To do that, we need infrastructure that works flawlessly and a campus that stays safe. As our Operations and Safety Supervisor, you won’t just be managing a property—you will be the driving force behind the physical safety, security, and tactical operations of our 20.25-acre, 304,000 sq. ft. campus footprint. Your role is a dynamic mix of physical oversight, technical systems management, and frontline crisis leadership. You will ensure 100% operational readiness across our facilities while keeping the academy compliant with all local, state, and federal standards.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of progressive facilities management, corporate campus operations, or public safety leadership managing a large, high-traffic property footprint.
  • Demonstrated experience directly supervising a team and running vendor/contractor performance checks.
  • Ability to actively patrol a 20.25-acre campus on foot or golf cart daily, lift up to 50 lbs, stand or walk for up to 2 hours, navigate stairs, and run/chase for short bursts (up to 1 minute) in critical emergencies.
  • Absolute commitment to punctuality and a dependable schedule.
  • Professional communication with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to keep composure during crises.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and schedule the internal custodial team to maintain campus cleanliness and functionality.
  • Execute daily physical walkthroughs to identify and mitigate physical hazards, maintenance needs, or security vulnerabilities.
  • Monitor, assign, and optimize facilities requests using the digital Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
  • Program, audit, and troubleshoot digital and physical security networks (RFID gate access, key fobs, automated door schedules, parking tracking, and alarm systems).
  • Serve as the primary first responder and Incident Commander for campus emergencies, medical incidents, or security threats.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for external trade partners (HVAC, landscaping, active security, pest control), drive the bidding process, and audit their performance.
  • Partner with leadership to upgrade the Comprehensive School Safety Plan (CSSP), IIPP, and Workplace Violence Prevention Plans.
  • Lead campus preparation for state and annual audits, including FIT, Williams Inspections, ADA compliance, and Fire Marshal reviews.
