About The Position

Join JLL as an Operations and Maintenance Lead and take charge of facility operations at our HP Inc. location in Corvallis, Oregon. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily maintenance activities, lead a skilled team of technicians, and ensure optimal building performance across all systems. You'll be responsible for maintaining high standards of safety and efficiency while delivering exceptional service to our valued client and stakeholders. Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of facilities management or maintenance experience with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
  • Strong knowledge of building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and life safety equipment
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills with ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
  • Proficiency in computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and Microsoft Office applications
  • Valid driver's license and ability to be on-call for emergency situations.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with building automation systems and energy management programs
  • Background in commercial real estate or corporate facilities management
  • Project management experience with capital improvement initiatives
  • Carpentry, welding, painting, and drywall skills
  • Experience with Corrigo CMMS system
  • Proficiency in Excel, Outlook, and Microsoft Word.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise a team of maintenance technicians and support staff, including scheduling, training, and performance management
  • Coordinate work assignments and ensure adequate coverage across all shifts and locations
  • Foster a collaborative team environment focused on continuous improvement and professional development
  • Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance programs for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire safety, and security systems
  • Monitor building automation systems and energy management platforms to optimize performance and identify potential issues
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, building codes, and industry standards
  • Manage relationships with external contractors and service providers, including scope development, performance monitoring, and cost control
  • Review and approve work orders, change orders, and invoicing
  • Conduct regular vendor performance evaluations and maintain preferred vendor networks
  • Track expenses, identify cost-saving opportunities, and provide regular financial reporting to senior management
  • Approve expenditures within established authority limits and ensure proper documentation
  • Serve as primary point of contact for emergency situations and coordinate appropriate response protocols
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and maintain comprehensive safety programs
  • Investigate incidents and implement corrective measures to prevent recurrence.
