About The Position

V2X is seeking an Operations & Logistics Coordinator to support planning and execution of training events, workshops, and exercises under the DTRA Southeast Asia Regional Training (SEART) Chemical Security Program. Based in Kuala Lumpur, the coordinator ensures all events are properly resourced, scheduled, and executed on time and within budget for Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines (option), Thailand, Vietnam, and other regional partners. The Operations Coordinator supports the successful planning and execution of the DTRA SEART Chemical Security Program by managing day to day administrative and coordination activities. Responsibilities typically include maintaining project schedules and action item trackers, organizing meetings and preparing agendas/minutes, collecting and consolidating status inputs from team members, assisting with risk and issue tracking, and supporting the preparation of reports, presentations, and contractual deliverables.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Logistics, International Relations, or related field; or equivalent experience.
  • At least 5 years of experience in operations, logistics, or event management, preferably supporting international training or exercise programs.
  • Demonstrated experience planning and executing multi day events involving international participants.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and problem solving skills.
  • Experience working in or with Southeast Asian countries.

Responsibilities

  • Translate scheduled events into event-level operational plans, timelines, and checklists.
  • Coordinate venue identification, selection, negotiation, and rental across multiple SEA countries.
  • Arrange event logistics including room setups, audio-visual support, local transportation, and (as directed) participant lodging and travel.
  • Coordinate printing/production and, as needed, translation of training materials in alignment with training schedules and TEP timelines.
  • Support equipment planning by consolidating instructor requirements and coordinating procurement, shipping, and delivery with PM/PMO and the CTR Single Shipper in accordance with the SOW.
  • Track shipments and coordinate with U.S. Embassies and local authorities to resolve customs, import/export, and local regulatory issues.
  • Support participant nomination and management, including gathering data required for Leahy vetting and ensuring submission to DTRA NLT 60 days prior to events.
  • Monitor event level budgets and costs and support the PM in cost control and schedule change (SOW 4.3.4) decisions.
  • Provide logistics and execution inputs to TEPs and TERs and support other documentation as required.
  • Build and maintain relationships with hotels, venues, local vendors, and service providers in multiple countries.
