About The Position

Sharegain is seeking to hire an Operations Analyst, based in either London or New York. The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of the securities lending market and the confidence to work and evolve processes independently. Due to the size of the team, this diverse role will involve senior responsibilities, including setting up relevant Operational processes and procedures, while also performing many of the Operational functions. The successful candidate will be expected to identify and build new and automated processes, working closely with R&D teams, in addition to daily responsibilities for the BAU management of operations functions.

Requirements

• 2+ years in US/UK securities lending operations, with strong grasp of settlement and cash/non-cash collateral movement
• Broad trade lifecycle experience: settlements, reconciliations (Pirum a plus), exposure management (incl. Triparty), KYC, corporate actions, and client reporting
• Working knowledge of cross-border lending — tax treatment of substitute payments, collateral structures, and operational models across brokers, clearing firms, and asset/wealth managers
• Global fixed income and/or equity support experience (essential)
• FINRA SIE and Series 99 required (Series 27 a plus); clean FINRA record

Responsibilities

• Daily management of all post-trade responsibilities and lifecycle maintenance
• Create bespoke client solutions that meet the requirements of the SEC customer protection rules regarding collateral segregation
• Support the operations of the US office of a rapidly growing broker dealer
