About The Position

The Operations Analyst will support post-trade operations and lifecycle processing for a variety of investment products, ensuring accurate trade booking and settlement. This role involves processing and monitoring financial movements, overseeing operational processes for client accounts, and ensuring the accuracy of billing and fee calculations. The analyst will also coordinate with various internal and external parties to resolve operational issues and will be involved in identifying and implementing process improvements and participating in enhancement projects.

Requirements

  • SIE and Series 99 are required.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.
  • 2+ years working in Operations at an investment bank or financial firm.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both in speaking and writing.
  • Project management experience and ability to collaborate across functions (Operations, Trading, IT, Legal, and Compliance).
  • Strong initiative, analytical ability, and problem solving skills.
  • Highly organized, flexibility, and able to prioritize multiple projects and tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Support post-trade operations and lifecycle processing for equities, fixed income, options, mutual funds, and alternative investments, ensuring accurate trade booking and settlement.
  • Process and monitor cash movements and asset transfers, including domestic and international wire transfers, internal transfers, and external account transfers (e.g., ACATs), ensuring compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee operational processes related to client account activity, supporting Wealth Management and Retail client accounts and assisting internal teams with operational inquiries and issue resolution.
  • Monitor and validate wrap account billing, fee calculations, rebates, and revenue allocations, ensuring accuracy and proper controls.
  • Coordinate with trading desks, clearing firms, and counterparties to resolve operational issues, settlement breaks, and other post-trade exceptions.
  • Maintain strong operational controls, documentation, and procedures, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and operational efficiency, and participate in projects related to new products, systems, and operational enhancements.
