About The Position

This is an Operations Analyst II position in the General Tax Administration Program's, Return and Revenue Processing, File Management Section of the Data Management Unit. The incumbent applies various research techniques to operational problems to identify systemic errors and problems, and utilizes various other methods to develop recommendations. The incumbent formulates recommendations to solve problems and prepares reports of findings, aides in the testing, installation, and maintenance of new procedures, measures and manages techniques for production planning controls, workload management, and quality control in a production environment. The incumbent utilizes various software to compile and analyze data, and to present graphical reports.

Requirements

  • Currently employed with the Florida Department of Revenue.
  • Two years of experience working in Modernized IMS (Fairfax).
  • Two years of experience researching information in the System for Unified Taxation (SUNTAX) or other Systems, Applications, and Products (SAP) programs.
  • Two years of experience conducting research, analyzing problems, or providing problem resolution.
  • Two years of experience reviewing documents for accuracy or completeness.
  • Experience using Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.

  • Experience monitoring batches in Workflow Monitor.
  • Experience with monitoring systems and responding to system errors.
  • Experience with data entry in a production environment.
  • Experience creating written and graphical reports.
  • Experience with data analysis.
  • Experience researching systems to identify issues and to solve problems.
