About The Position

As a Senior Operations Advisor, this role leads critical Investor Reporting activities, ensuring accurate reporting and remittance of funds, oversight of complex transactions, and successful execution of strategic initiatives. The position strengthens operational integrity by proactively managing risk and ensuring compliance with regulatory and servicing requirements. Requirements

  • Minimum of six years of loan servicing experience, preferably within investor reporting; equivalent experience in complex financial operations will be considered
  • Strong understanding of financial calculations, cash movement processes, and the ability to analyze and resolve reporting discrepancies
  • Exceptional time management and prioritization skills, with the ability to effectively manage multiple competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with a proven commitment to accuracy, quality, and operational excellence
  • Demonstrated ability to independently identify issues, analyze root causes, and implement effective solutions
  • Sound decision-making skills, with the ability to assess risk, escalate concerns when appropriate, and drive timely resolution
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining strong collaboration and communication across business partners and stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to interpret complex data, identify trends, and support informed business decisions
  • Demonstrated leadership by serving as a trusted advisor on complex reporting and reconciliation matters, mentoring peers, and advancing team objectives.
  • Proactively monitors production workflows to identify risks, quality concerns, and operational inefficiencies, escalating issues when necessary and driving sustainable corrective actions to resolve systemic challenges, strengthen controls, and enhance overall operational performance.
  • Roles at this level typically require a university / college degree, with 3+ years of relevant / direct industry experience.

Responsibilities

  • Leads a critical operational support service, process, capability or initiative within an operational unit and ensures performance and/or risk indicators are met.
  • Provides training and mentoring support to the team.
  • Establishes process performance measurements and oversees business impact.
  • May implement critical business support services.
  • Communicates performance statistics to internal stakeholders and senior management.
  • Promotes and monitors the production workflow and assists team members with complex escalation process issues.
  • Independently identifies and resolves exceptions and serves as a point of escalation.
  • Monitors effectiveness and efficiency of production and/or process.
