As the Operations Advanced Quality Engineer, you will be a champion for implementing quality planning methodologies for cross-drive transmission development projects. You'll be central part in ensuring the smooth and efficient launch of high-quality Allison cross-drive transmissions. Uphold and promote the company’s values of quality, integrity, innovation, customer focus and teamwork. Lead and participate in all phases of the transmission development, focusing on implementing a structured quality planning process. Facilitate seamless collaboration between product engineering, manufacturing engineering, and other departments throughout the project. Develop and maintain comprehensive Control Plans specific to transmissions, ensuring they address critical quality considerations. Assure thorough Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) to identify potential quality risks early in the design phase, with a keen eye for transmission-specific failure modes. Analyze warranty, customer, and internal first-time quality data to mitigate recurrence in future products. Assurance to Allison manufacturing best practices by coordinating design for manufacturing and design for assembly events. Prepare and deliver presentations on best practices for achieving exceptional transmission quality within internal teams.
