About The Position

Daniels Health is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Operations Administrator to support our plant operations team in Taylor, MI. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment and is passionate about organization, compliance, and continuous improvement. We’re on a mission to make healthcare safer. Daniels Health provides reusable medical waste containers designed to reduce needlestick injuries and support sustainability. After use, we professionally clean and sanitize each container for reuse, while responsibly disposing of medical waste at our treatment facilities. Our closed-loop system ensures safety, compliance, and environmental responsibility for our customers.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of administrative experience
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Detail-oriented with an analytical mindset

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a manufacturing or operational environment
  • Familiarity with compliance documentation and audit processes
  • Background in supporting logistics or plant operations

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update operational data, including metric boards, audits, and training records
  • Support compliance efforts by updating SDS books and scanning autoclave/washline sheets
  • Assist with vendor onboarding, including insurance and diversity documentation
  • Manage supply orders through Coupa and coordinate off-site pickups and deliveries
  • Support internal projects, audits, and performance tracking initiatives
  • Assist with travel coordination and general office tasks (lamination, label making, flyers, etc.)
  • Provide backup support to Customer Service during surveys or peak periods
  • Ensure accuracy in container audits, load sheets, and facility documentation
  • Communicate effectively across departments and contribute to a well-run business unit
