About The Position

Praetorian Power Protection is a trusted provider of electrical testing, maintenance, and commissioning services, delivering high-quality solutions to ensure electrical systems perform safely and efficiently. As a NETA-accredited firm, we specialize in performing electrical testing, inspections, and preventative maintenance to ensure compliance with industry standards and codes. We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Operations Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will support day-to-day administrative functions, streamline processes, and contribute to the smooth operation of our electrical testing and maintenance services.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience in an administrative or operations support role, preferably within the electrical, construction, or technical services industry.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and experience with project management or CRM software.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in recordkeeping and reporting.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing priorities.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in business administration, operations management, or related field.
  • Experience working with a NETA testing firm is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the operations team, including scheduling, coordinating, and tracking electrical testing projects.
  • Maintain accurate records of service calls, test results, and maintenance activities.
  • Prepare and update job documentation, reports, and project files for clients and team members.
  • Handle insurance matters, including Project COI's for Clients, Vehicle and Business insurance, and Insurance claims.
  • Manage business licensing in multiple states, registering with state SOS and DOR departments for new states.
  • Compile and generate reports for clients, including test results, service summaries, and recommendations.
  • Serve as a liaison between clients, field technicians, and management to ensure clear communication and efficient project execution.
  • Address client inquiries, follow up on project statuses, and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Input data related to jobs, projects, and maintenance into the company’s database and software systems.
  • Maintain up-to-date, accurate records of completed projects and service history.
  • Assist with invoicing and billing, ensuring all project costs are recorded and accurate.
