About The Position

Sofidel America, a subsidiary of the Sofidel Group, is a leading manufacturer of tissue paper products with a strong commitment to innovation, sustainability, and operational excellence. We are seeking an OT Information Security Administrator to support the cybersecurity, reliability, and protection of Operational Technology (OT) systems across our manufacturing facilities. This role will partner with IT, Engineering, and Operations teams to maintain secure production environments, support cybersecurity initiatives, and help protect critical manufacturing systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • 1–3 years of experience in IT, Cybersecurity, Operational Technology, Industrial Automation, or a manufacturing technology environment.
  • Exposure to industrial control systems, manufacturing networks, PLCs, HMIs, or automation systems preferred.
  • Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles, network security, system administration, and access management.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify and resolve technical issues.
  • Ability to collaborate with IT, Engineering, Operations, and manufacturing teams.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to support multiple locations and business priorities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general IT systems.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally to support manufacturing facilities.
  • Eagerness to learn, adapt to new technologies, and grow within the cybersecurity field.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain inventory and documentation of OT hardware and software assets, including physical and virtual systems within manufacturing environments.
  • Support user access management, system permissions, and security controls for OT applications and production systems.
  • Assist with implementing secure configurations, cybersecurity standards, and best practices for industrial systems.
  • Partner with IT and plant teams to support system updates, network security, troubleshooting, and improvements to manufacturing technology infrastructure.
  • Monitor and support OT security tools, including antivirus, anti-malware solutions, vulnerability management, and system protection measures.
  • Assist with backup procedures and recovery strategies for critical production equipment, including PLCs, HMIs, and other factory devices.
  • Support cybersecurity assessments, testing activities, incident response, and remediation efforts within manufacturing environments.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure compliance with company cybersecurity policies and physical security requirements.
  • Identify opportunities to improve OT security processes, system reliability, and operational efficiency.
