About The Position

We are seeking experienced Operational Technology (OT) Analysts to support client engagements in the Halifax area. These opportunities are open to salaried employees, contract employees, and independent contractors, with engagements ranging from part-time to full-time based on project needs. This role is suited for senior professionals with experience in business analysis, systems analysis, or a blend of both, ideally within industrial, utility, or other asset-intensive environments. You will play a key role in supporting the planning, analysis, and delivery of OT initiatives across operational systems, data environments, and technology platforms, contributing to modernization, operational performance, and data-driven decision-making.

Requirements

5+ years of experience in OT, industrial, utilities, or other asset-intensive environments
Strong understanding of operational processes and how technology enables them
Experience working with cross-functional teams across business and technical domains
Ability to support initiatives across modernization, integration, testing, deployment, and change readiness
Business Analysis experience may include: Requirements gathering, stakeholder engagement, and workshop facilitation
Business Analysis experience may include: Process mapping, workflow analysis, and business process improvement
Business Analysis experience may include: Translating business needs into functional or technical requirements
Systems / Technical Analysis experience may include: Supporting OT systems, integrations, or industrial platforms
Systems / Technical Analysis experience may include: System configuration, data flows, interfaces, or historian environments
Systems / Technical Analysis experience may include: Exposure to SCADA, PI System, or similar OT technologies

Nice To Haves

Experience with platforms such as AVEVA/OSIsoft PI, historian systems, or industrial data environments
Exposure to reporting, analytics, or operational dashboards
Experience in utilities (water, energy, or similar) or other regulated environments
Consulting experience in a client-facing environment
Agile, ITIL, or related certifications

Responsibilities

Support OT initiatives across plant, field, and asset-intensive operational environments
Work with business and operational stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document requirements, processes, and use cases
Contribute to solution design, system enhancements, and integration activities across OT platforms and data environments
Support process mapping, workflow analysis, and business process improvement initiatives
Assist with delivery activities including testing, validation, deployment, and change readiness
Document system interactions, data flows, and operational processes to support both business and technical outcomes
Provide input into data, reporting, and operational visibility solutions, including dashboards and analytics
Communicate insights, risks, and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
