About The Position

This role is responsible for overseeing janitorial staff, ensuring cleaning standards are met, managing client relationships, and controlling operational costs. The Operational Supervisor will develop cleaning plans, ensure safety compliance, prepare reports, and address any site-specific issues or emergencies. This position also involves overseeing the maintenance and repair of cleaning equipment.

Requirements

• Experience in commercial cleaning operations and supervisory roles
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients and staff
• Ability to manage budgets and track expenses
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety procedures
• Proficiency in basic computer skills for reporting and scheduling

Responsibilities

• Hiring, training, scheduling, and supervising a team of janitorial staff.
• Conducting regular inspections to ensure cleaning standards are met, addressing any quality concerns, and providing feedback to staff.
• Building and maintaining relationships with clients, addressing their concerns, and ensuring their satisfaction with the cleaning services.
• Monitoring cleaning costs, managing inventory of supplies and equipment, and identifying opportunities for cost savings.
• Developing cleaning plans for each site, including task assignments, schedules, and necessary supplies.
• Ensuring adherence to all safety regulations, cleaning standards, and company policies.
• Preparing reports on cleaning activities, staff performance, and client satisfaction.
• Addressing any cleaning-related issues or emergencies that arise at the site.
• Overseeing the proper maintenance and repair of cleaning equipment.
