About The Position

The Operations Program Manager will be the organizational force behind Google’s Economic & Community Development team, working closely with the Head of ECD and cross-functional teams to keep key initiatives moving. You’ll bring structure to complex programs, coordinate across regional and functional teams, and make sure the right people have the right information at the right time. From building project plans and preparing leadership materials to running meetings and improving processes, you’ll help turn priorities into action and keep things running smoothly behind the scenes. A big part of the role will be keeping everyone moving in the same direction day to day — you make sense of the nonsensical.

Requirements

  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and follow-through
  • Comfortable managing multiple workstreams, stakeholders, and shifting priorities
  • A clear, confident communicator who knows how to keep teams aligned
  • Proactive problem solver who can bring structure to ambiguity and anticipate what needs to happen next
  • Experienced building project plans, trackers, processes, and executive-ready materials
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace, including Gmail, Google Calendar, and Google Drive, with the ability to effectively manage communications, coordinate schedules, and organize documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Identify risks, roadblocks, and competing priorities before they impact delivery
  • Comfortable giving and receiving constructive feedback with coworkers, clients, and leadership to keep projects moving and outcomes strong
  • Look for ways to streamline workflows, improve visibility, and reduce administrative lift
  • Serve as a central point of coordination between leadership, project teams, and stakeholders
