About The Position

At Dungarvin, we are a national provider of support services committed to enhancing the quality of life for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, including those with mental health, behavioral, and complex medical needs, since 1976. Operating across fifteen states, we deliver flexible, high-quality services tailored to each individual’s goals. The Operational Program Director (OPD) will lead and coordinate overall programs for persons with ID, DD, Mental Health Diagnosis, medical needs, and/or persons on the Autism Spectrum in the Washington/Ramsey County, MN area. This role involves a mixture of both direct care and supervisory duties.

Requirements

  • Designated Manager status per 245D licensing requirements in MN.
  • Three years’ experience supervising staff in the human service field per 245D Designated Manager qualifications.
  • Valid United States Driver’s License with acceptable motor vehicle background check per Dungarvin, Inc’s policy.
  • Valid liability vehicle insurance with reliable transportation.
  • Ability to complete personal cares and lift and transfer.
  • Ability to transport persons served in the community.
  • Demonstrate good decision-making, time management and communication skills, and be responsible and flexible.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age (some programs require at least 21 years of age per MN requirements for children foster care licensed programs).

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in behavioral science or related field.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and coordination for programs supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, mental health diagnoses, medical needs, and/or autism spectrum disorder.
  • Perform a mixture of direct care and supervisory duties.
  • Manage programs in the Washington/Ramsey County, MN area.
  • Be on call Monday to Friday (8am-5pm) to support staff and coordinators within four to five programs.
  • Be on call for approximately 15-30 sites from Friday 5pm to Monday 8am, roughly every 3-6 weeks, including some holidays.
  • Complete personal cares and assist with lifting and transferring individuals.
  • Transport persons served in the community.
