About The Position

ASML US is seeking an Operational Planner to join their team. ASML US develops lithography machines essential for producing advanced microchips, enabling customers to create smaller, more powerful consumer electronics. The company's headquarters are in Veldhoven, the Netherlands, with 18 office locations across the United States. The Operations Planner will be responsible for US Logistics tasks, including escalations and inventory management, focusing on key performance indicators (KPIs) and customer intimacy. The role emphasizes delivering high customer satisfaction through accountability, dedication, and responsiveness.

Requirements

Bachelors degree in Business Engineering, Supply Chain or equivalent; or equivalent years of working experience.
3-5 years of relevant field experience in a complex customer oriented (logistics) environment.
Experience in building a good relationship with customers in supporting their needs.
Knowledge of business complexity, supply chain and/or relevant industry.
Experience in defining and implementing of new processes across the supply chain against agreed costs.
Proven record with (continuous) improvement-projects.
Know how about Materials Requirement Planning (MRP).
Advanced competencies in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
Ability to observe and respond to people and situations and interact with others encountered in the course of work.
Ability to learn and apply new information or skills.
Must be able to read and interpret data, information, and documents.
Strong customer focus and commitment to customer satisfaction through prioritization, quality, efficiency and professionalism.

Responsibilities

Respond to and process incoming emergency parts orders.
Enter and execute administrative controls in the SAP system.
Communicate directly with internal customers to ensure that their needs are understood, communicated and fulfilled.
Follow up and Monitor daily escalations through technical support.
Act as the main contact for the local CS Service organization and colleagues, providing supply chain expertise to drive optimal decisions.
Drive the replenishment and allocation of parts.
Analyze and review usage of local service and sales parts based on historical data and/or projected requirements and develop proposed stocking plans.
Optimize spare part and tool planning mechanism in the US, completing analysis for the relevant machines and develop proposals to increase optimization.
Monitor critical parts and influence stocking levels ensuring effective coverage.
Ensure customer lead time and fill rate targets are met; NAV’s are analyzed for root causes and corrective actions.
Present relevant performance reporting to stakeholders.
Initiate alignment with local CS and Account Team on total demand plan (Service, FCO’s, Install, UF) and matching supply plan on different planning horizons (short-medium-long); includes specifics on NPI’s, such as definition and release status.
Improve cooperation between local and central logistics covering volume and NPI’s.
Participate in strategic initiatives optimizing supply chain performance, reduce costs and increase customer satisfaction.
